I love to Vote!

Written By Sarah Asch

I have voted every year since I turned 18. I love voting! I have heard less and less about civics classes in schools, and it makes me worry that kids are not learning about why, as Americans, we have to vote. For so many reasons, I believe that everyone who is eligible to vote should exercise their constitutional right to participate in our democracy and VOTE! Many issues our legislators address factor into our children’s health – so as a pediatric doctor and a parent, and someone who lives with Minnesota winters and fully understands the need for great snowplowing and road maintenance, I vote!

#VoteKids is the AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics) campaign to encourage voting to support issues that support our kids future. If you are on social media, you can look it up.
