Thankful for Vaccines! Flu and COVID vaccine Reminder

Written By Sarah Asch

THANKFUL for vaccines. My mother was a pediatrician, and by the time I became a pediatrician, we rarely saw children die of diseases that were commonplace in her early career. We see fewer long term health problems from measles, chronic ear infections, chickenpox – just to name a few. As a pediatrician first, I understand the importance of immunizations to keep our kids healthy, safe and in school. Protect your children, family and your “herd” of fellow Upper Midwesterners.

Flu has hit Minnesota really quickly in the last two weeks, so if you aren’t up to date with this year’s flu shot – time to do it!
