A Great Week at Camp Discovery 2023!

At Camp Discovery Teen Week 2023 (hosted at Camp Knutson in Crosslake MN), we had a great week doing everything from horseback riding to water activities to archery and more. I am lucky to get to participate as volunteer medical staff, and am already looking forward to next year!

Camp Discovery is a FREE CAMP for kids and teens (ages 8-16) with any type of skin disorder. There are several weeks of camp across the country each year. The AAD (American Academy of Dermatology) pays for camp and travel to the camps, so ANYONE can attend.

Usual Hours 9am-4pm

Evening appointments are possible to ease the challenges of coordinating school, after-school activities and work schedules.

The occasional Saturday/Sunday may be available by request.
