Another reason to be thankful this November - great people doing great work!

I very recently learned through the Minnesota Dept of Health about MN Rural Health Awards. From their page MDH Rural Health Awards:

The Minnesota Rural Health Awards are given annually to individuals and groups who have made a significant contribution to improving rural health in Minnesota. This year’s awards go to the following honorees:

  • Dr. Rozalina McCoy, Medical Director, Community Paramedic Program, Mayo Clinic Ambulance Service, Rochester, is the recipient of the 2022 Minnesota Rural Health Hero Award.

  • Wilderness Health, Two Harbors, is the recipient of the 2022 Minnesota Rural Health Team Award.

  • Wesley Ofstedal, MD, Medical Director of Living Center, Essentia Health-Fosston, is the recipient of the 2022 Minnesota Rural Health Lifetime Achievement Award.
