The days are Getting Longer!
Now past winter solstice, the shortest day of the year, each day will now get a little longer with it, more sunshine! Even in winter, it is important to wear sunscreen - especially on the face, hands and ears which are the most exposed areas. This is prevents darkening of spots which appear after acne or the type that appear with aging. In the Upper Midwest, good snowcover will reflect light just like being out on the lake in the summer! SPF 30 or higher is recommended for daily face use, and a SPF 50 or higher for outdoor winter sports which you re-apply when taking those hot cocoa or warm apple cider breaks!
